Manufacturing Facility — Case Study
In line with data protection regulations, we share the concrete outcomes of our projects while protecting client confidentiality.
Work Done and Results
The factory's aging IT infrastructure was rebuilt from the ground up: next-generation servers, a newly established Active Directory/Domain Controller structure, and a renewed firewall strengthened network security. Attendance control software was integrated with turnstile systems, and together with the CCTV infrastructure, a standardized security and management framework was established facility-wide.
Company name and identity withheld in accordance with data protection regulations.
Starting Point
The factory's IT infrastructure had aged: servers were old, user accounts were managed inconsistently and network security was weak. Backups were irregular and recovering data after a failure was not guaranteed.
Work Carried Out
- New-generation servers were installed in an uninterrupted (active-active) architecture.
- An Active Directory / Domain Controller structure was built from scratch, centralising users and permissions.
- Regular server backups with Veeam and a disaster recovery plan were prepared.
- The firewall was renewed, strengthening network security.
- PDKS software was integrated with turnstile systems and, together with the CCTV infrastructure, a standard site-wide structure was set up.
Infrastructure Used
Active-active server architecture, Active Directory / Domain Controller, Veeam backup, a next-generation firewall, turnstile-integrated PDKS and CCTV.
Outcome
Active-Active Uninterrupted System Architecture · From Scratch AD/DC & Server Setup · Turnstile-Integrated Shift Tracking via Attendance System
Timing and Planning
The work was split into phases so as not to stop daily operations; the timeline was planned according to the project scope, and each phase was tested and commissioned on completion.
