Work Done and Results

Hotel
IT Infrastructure Smart Access Systems

Starting Point

The hotel's cabling had aged and physical keys lost in the room entry system caused constant problems. A disk failure on one of the front-office computers had made important records inaccessible.

Work Carried Out

  • End-to-end IT cabling was renewed and fibre terminations completed.
  • The PDKS devices were replaced.
  • Room entry moved to a contactless system supporting QR codes and NFC cards.
  • Data was recovered from the failed disk and a new backup routine was set up.
  • Users and computers were joined to a domain (Domain Controller) for central management.

Infrastructure Used

Renewed copper and fibre cabling, a contactless room access system, PDKS devices and central user management.

Outcome

End-to-End Cabling & Fiber Renewal · QR + NFC Contactless Room Access · Keyless No More Lost Keys

Timing and Planning

The work was split into phases so as not to stop daily operations; the timeline was planned according to the project scope, and each phase was tested and commissioned on completion.
